Growing up in Queensbridge, one of the most well-known public housing developments in the United States, Lee was exposed to a wide range of personalities and life experiences that would later influence his work as a novelist. In 2003, Lee began his creative career as a hip-hop music producer, working with emerging artists from New York City. A must-read......the storyline keeps you guessing until the end. The author has done an amazing job, and it's a page-turner for sure.

The author does a great job helping the reader visualize every scene. The descriptive wordplay left me eager to find out what happens next with every character. With several shocking turns of events, it could make anyone question "who can you really trust?" I am ready for the rest of the series to be published because I can't wait to find out what happens next for King and his empire or Luis and his cartel... I highly recommend this book if you enjoy reading about the making and the breakdowns of any real street crews.

All around, a great book. Haven't read a book in years, but this one has opened my mind back up, and I plan on giving some other new authors a chance as well. Can't wait for the hard copy!
