Street Tales
Step Into Gritty, Captivating Stories Inspired by the Streets of New York City

Paint the City Red
For over a century, the New York City underworld has been governed and controlled by some of the most ruthless gangsters the world has ever seen. Their lifestyles are celebrated, and the way each and every one of them went about achieving power, immortalized them in the history book of the streets.
Following in the footsteps of the street legends before him is a young man from Queens. He was able to rise to the top of the drug game because of his hustler ambition and killer mentality, which inevitably made him the FBI's number one target.
This is the story of Aaron Johnson, aka "King", a drug lord from the Queensbridge housing projects. After replacing his mentor, Tyler Hampton, aka "Mac", who was the biggest dope kingpin in Queens, King knew taking his rightful seat on the throne would come with great sacrifices. From being stuck in the middle of a war between rival drug cartels and going to war with the Lombardo crime family, King did whatever he had to do to make it to the top and remain there.

Paint the City Red 2
Aaron Johnson, aka King, who is the biggest drug lord in New York, is in the fight of his life. After getting arrested on New Year’s Day, he faces charges on a fifteen-count RICO indictment. It’s a slam dunk case against King in the eyes of the United States government, but all that changes when the best criminal defense attorney in New York – Arthur Rowe, who is known as the god of the courtroom – shows up at King’s arraignment to represent him.
While out on a twelve-million-dollar bond and while facing a life sentence at USP Florence ADMAX Federal Prison if found guilty at trial, King continues to run his drug operation. With help from his cousin S and S’s crew, the Hit-Squad, King digs in deeper into the game in order to establish and finance a bigger plan for his family’s future.
Already fighting an uphill battle toward his goal, a new war arises for King in the form of a gangster from Harlem named Dale Valentine. Dale and his right-hand man, Fox, are determined to take over the entire drug trade in New York. They couldn’t care less about casualties along the way, or the outcome of King’s trial. Their only concern is bringing King down by any means necessary.
Paint the City Red 2 is a bird’s-eye view of the story of King’s reign over New York, the trials and tribulations that try to bring him down, and his ability to rise, at the end of it all, so that he remains as the last man standing with his operation still intact.
